The Biddle and Craig families became linked when Nicholas Biddle (1786-1844) married Jane Craig (1793-1856) in 1811. Nicholas Biddle was a member of the prominent, attended Princeton, and served as member of the Pennsylvania state legislature and president of the Bank of the United States.
